New state record Hybrid Striped Bass Recognized
The new state record Hybrid Striped Bass caught in April by Don Jessie of Pulaski, was recently recognized with the presentation of a special plaque. The fish was officially weighed in at Rockhouse Marina and recognized at 15 lbs, 13 oz. DGIF fisheries biologist John Copeland was there to verify the fish and the weight. The fish measured 28.5 inches with a girth of 21.75 inches. Congratulations to Don on this record catch.
